Intellectual Property:

  • Proprietary Technology: VERIQO AI's consensus engine remains our IP

Limitations:

  • Analysis provided for informational purposes

  • Final decisions remain your responsibility

  • No guarantee of specific outcomes

  • Limited to fees paid in preceding 12 months

  • Data Retention for Regulatory Compliance:

    • Retention Period: Veriqo AI retains decision queries, outputs, and audit metadata for thirty-six (36) months from date of generation

    • Legal Basis: Retention is required under: (a) EU AI Act Article 13(2) — transparency and logging obligations for high-risk AI systems; (b) UK GDPR Article 5(2) — accountability principle; (c) EU GDPR Article 6(1)(c) — legal obligation to maintain records for regulatory investigations

    • Post-Retention Handling: All personal data permanently deleted after 36 months. Anonymised aggregates may be retained for product improvement

    • User Rights: You may request access/deletion of your data under GDPR Article 15/17. Deletion requests processed within 30 days, subject to regulatory retention obligations (Article 17(3)(b) — legal claims exemption)

  • High-Risk AI System Disclosure (EU AI Act Article 13):

    • Classification: Veriqo AI qualifies as a high-risk AI system under EU AI Act Annex III(5) (legal/employment decision support)

    • Mandatory Human Oversight: Veriqo NEVER replaces human legal counsel. All outputs require review by qualified professionals before execution. Hard blocks enforced for: Employment termination decisions; Financial promotions (FCA-regulated activities); Data subject rights exercises (GDPR Article 22); Cross-border data transfers outside adequacy frameworks

    • Transparency: All outputs include mandatory disclaimer: "AI-GENERATED ANALYSIS ONLY — NOT LEGAL ADVICE. Consult SRA/FCA-regulated professional before execution. Veriqo AI Ltd bears no liability for legal outcomes."

  • Geographic Scope & Liability:

    • EU Users: Subject to EU AI Act + EU GDPR. 36-month retention mandatory

    • UK Users: Subject to UK GDPR + UK AI Framework (voluntary). 24-month retention applied as best practise

    • Non-EU/UK Users: Subject to local laws. Minimum 12-month retention applied globally for liability protection

    • Liability Limitation: Veriqo AI Ltd's total liability capped at fees paid by user in preceding 12 months. No liability for decisions executed without human legal review
